During the March General Membership Meeting some members brought up their displeasure with the clubs decision in January to only accept dinner reservations. The issue was discussed and it was decided to put it to a vote during the April General Membership Meeting. Details will be in April's Newsletter but basically we decided on voting on two issues. First, should members be able to reserve tables without the intention of ordering dinner? YES or NO. Second, Should members be able to retain preferred seating for events "Standing Reservations" or should reservations be filled in the order recieved on a weekly basis? STANDING or WEEKLY. Currently, members whom support the club week in and week out on a yearly basis have tables reserved for them on most Friday evenings until they call the club to state they will not be in attendance of a particular event. All other reservation request are then seated in the vacancies as they are received. This differs from Saturday and Sunday reservations which are all filled in the order they are received. It should be noted that the changes made in January were made to ensure reservations were fair to all members and to assist us in food preperation and staffing levels. So if this is something that you feel passionate about please plan on attending April's General Membership meeting. Only thoose in attendance can vote. Sorry, but there can be no absentee ballots. Also, I want to make it clear that the reservation isssue concerns member only events. Only members may reserve tables, NON-MEMBERS have no such rights. So, come out to meetings and have your voice heard. Thank you.

Due to the increasing price of hosting large events and to add benefit to our memberships we will be charging a small cover of $5 to NON-MEMBERS attending our Friday and Saturday night Summer Concert Series. This was discussed and finalized during the March General Membership Meetings. So, if you enjoy these events and are not a member, please consider joining our club. Additionally, there will be a few events where members will be charged $3 to attend. This is again based on the cost of hosting certain events and will be clearly marked on our Summer schedule. All members are reminded to please have your membership cards with you while attending club events.

Due to the club's cost of providing entertainment there will be a small admission charge for most Saturday evening bands. This will be the same as our Friday entrance, $3 members/$5 Guest, and will be collected starting at 7 p.m. Those arriving ealier for dinner will be welcome to stay for bands at no additional cost.
